Thank you, Nicole. Of the two, "useful" is the one I'll take every time, since that's the whole job here. I'm happy it connected! 💙

I has never been diagnosed wih adhd, but adhd tips always helped me. When I looked back my childhood and teenage years, I can see some elements of adhd. This is another adhd article talking to me. Knowing limits is important and I have always miscalculated, my time, limits, energy....thanks for sharing.

This means a lot, thank you for reading and for sharing where you're at. What you're describing, tips landing even without a formal diagnosis, and recognizing pieces of it looking back, is something a lot of people here say too. You don't need a label for the strategies to be yours to use.

Miscalculating your time, energy, and limits, is something I absolutely relate to.  The good news is that the fix isn't trying "harder" to be accurate. It's building the fence around your actual capacity, not the capacity you keep wishing you had.

Are you building something right now? If so, I'd love to know where you are in it, and whether anything about the process feels murky or stuck. I have a content plan but I'm always looking for the real questions to write about because helping answer something specific is more fun! PM me if you prefer. Either way, I’m glad this one found you. 💙

Yes, I am building my Substack. What worries me is that when I cannot clearly see where something is leading, I tend to stop. I usually work on a project for around three months, then I start questioning whether it will work, whether I am wasting my time, or whether I should be doing something else instead.

That’s such a common pattern. I sent you a PM because I think your situation deserves a longer answer than a comment. I’ve been thinking a lot about this exact challenge, and I hope it gives you a different way to look at what’s happening. 💛
