This totally resonate. If I don't do something instantly, or I can't see the bigger picture of all my task, I know I'm going to have a hard time finding the motivation to tackle them. That's why I am constantly building nervous system-friendly dashboards and apps for myself for my ADHD brain. Because you know... out of sight, out of mind!
I do things instantly too. Sign & return permission slips before leaving school (or at least put it back in the backpack). I complete as many follow up tasks while still on calls or in meetings like scheduling the next meeting, sending a link or document, etc. I've gotten to the point that I don't want to have to remember later, even if it's written down or posted somewhere.
